Ahhh, the Amalfi Coast in Italy. What a wonderful place and wonderful country.
Italy, one of the most alluring getaways in Europe, is known for its mouth-watering cuisines, rich and tasty pasta sauces, world-class- artists, beautiful landscapes, neo-classical civilization, and not to forget the famous Italian gelato. Having traveled to Italy probably over 30 times in my life, I am always drawn to the incredible architecture, historical ruins, and the people that live life less ordinary. We should all live like Italians. Working to live, not living to work. Kati and I always seem to be heading back as there is always more to explore in Italy.
One of our favorite spots is the Amalfi Coast. Not just Positano, what most people think of when they think the Amalfi Coast, but rather the entire coast (we actually do not recommend Positano as it is too expensive and too touristy). We typically stay in Praiano which is Positano’s less crowded, just as beautiful neighbor.
The Amalfi Coast is a long stretch from Sorrento south to Amalfi. There are many little towns and villages along the way. We recommend staying there and spend an afternoon in Positano. You will get a break on the cost and the views are just as spectacular.
Here are 10 photos to inspire you to take your next trip to the Amalfi Coast:

Our Final Word
The Amalfi Coast is like a dream and when you are there you really start to live the dolce vita. Get settled, rent a Vespa and explore the coast. Around every turn is an amazing view and every town is filled with history and great restaurants. We will be heading back so see you there.

Lost in the Pantanal
We are searching for the apex predator of the Pantanal – the Jaguar.
The Pantanal, a sprawling wetland that stretches across Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay, is a haven for wildlife. It’s a place where the air is filled with the cacophony of bird calls, the rustling of leaves as capybaras scurry by, and caiman swimming nearby. Searching for jaguars in the Pantanal is an adventure that promises excitement, awe, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature.
The Conservationists that have Inspired us
As we have traveled throughout the world, wildlife conservation and protecting our planet has become a priority.
Conservation is a critical issue that affects the future of our planet. It requires individuals who are willing to take a stand and lead by example, inspiring others to join the cause. Here are the lives and legacies of five such conservationists that have inspired Kati and I who have left an indelible mark on the world.
