As many know, Kati and I have built a cabin in the mountains of western North Carolina. We love getting out of Florida and driving up to the cabin. The drive itself seems to transform us. Lower our blood pressure. Make us more relaxed. We love getting to the cooler temperatures and mountain lakes.
It is wonderful to experience the fall when it comes and turns the entire mountainside into a plethora of colors. In the summer it is so lush with green and the temperatures rarely get higher than 75 degrees. And we love the winter as well sitting in front of the fireplace enjoying a drink or playing cards. All year round, we love visiting with friends and family at the cabin and experiencing the mountain life. No matter how many places we travel to, and how many different countries we explore, our mountain cabin is always our favorite place to go.
