Winter is a magical time of year, and it’s the perfect time to explore some of the most beautiful national parks in the United States. From snowshoeing and cross-country skiing to snowmobiling and ice fishing, there’s something for everyone at Yellowstone National Park.

The wolves take over the park as the bears hibernate.  We went on a photographic tour and though it was cold, we had such a great time with all of the wildlife. Kati and I stayed in the Old Faithful Snow Lodge cabins.  They were rustic and basic but had a great time.

This is one of our favorite parks.  We have visited many times and even did a 4 day pack trip on horseback up to 11,000 feet.  We are even heading back this year.
